"Uske chehre pe calmness hai, woh toh chahiye thi na...Nitesh (Tiwari) ne bahot pehle hi soch lia tha unko. Ye bahot sahi decision hai. Wo aapko maloom chalega film aane ke baad. (He has a calmness on his face. It was needed for the film. Nitesh Tiwari thought about casting him quite earlier. It is a great decision and the audience will realize after watching the film)," Chhabra revealed.
In Tamasha, Rockstar, Bombay Velvet, Sanju, and Brahmastra, Chhabra has worked with Ranbir. The actor in Tai Tai Phish, a song from Chillar Party, was also collaborating with the casting director. The casting director said that when it comes to acting, it is difficult to top Ranbir. Because he is confident in his performances, the Ramayana actor is likewise unaffected by successes or failures.
Speaking further on casting for the Ramayana, Mukesh Chhabra stated that it cannot be "calculated or manipulated" for these kinds of movies. According to Chhabra, the group must select actors for specific roles with a very honest mindset. The casting director said that when it comes to choosing performers for Ramayana, he looks for people whose personalities mesh well with the picture.

In addition to the two parts of Ramayana, a Hanuman spin-off is also likely to be in the works. Supposedly, it could serve as the third part of this saga in the future. Ramayana also stars Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol as Sita, Raavan, Lord Hanuman respectively.
