Beyond the Backlash: Ram Kapoor's Surprising Take on His Feud with Ekta Kapoor!

The long-standing whispers of a rift between television stalwarts Ram Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor have finally been addressed by the actor himself. After months of speculation following his comments on the intimate scenes in their hit show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Ram Kapoor has opened up about the dynamic with the influential producer, emphasizing gratitude despite recent public spats.

 

The controversy ignited earlier this year when Ram Kapoor, in an interview, revisited the widely discussed romantic scenes from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, particularly the groundbreaking kissing scene with co-star Sakshi Tanwar. He had stated that while he and Sakshi initially had reservations, it was Ekta Kapoor who pushed for the scene, and subsequently, she "suffered the consequences" of the backlash and TRP fluctuations.

 

This comment seemingly did not sit well with Ekta Kapoor. Without directly naming Ram, she took to her Instagram stories with a cryptic, yet pointed, message. Her post, which quickly went viral, read: "Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up! False information and skewed stories. Can only last till I talk but there is dignity in silence." This was widely interpreted as a direct response to Ram Kapoor's remarks, fueling rumors of a significant fallout between the once close collaborators.

 

Adding another layer to the public spat, Ram Kapoor's wife, actress Gautami Kapoor, also weighed in with a subtle dig at Ekta Kapoor, appearing to mock her comments regarding Ram's recent weight loss transformation.

 

However, in a recent interview with a media channel, Ram Kapoor chose to take the high road, expressing profound gratitude towards Ekta Kapoor. "She can say whatever she wants to, but I will not say a word," he stated, adding, "Because at the end of the day, she gave me what no one gave me. She believed in me when nobody else did. And for that, I will always be grateful. She has the right to say whatever she wants to about me till the end of my career."

 

He further clarified his wife Gautami's involvement, calling it "all in good fun" and reiterating, "You cannot forget what someone has done for you."

 

This statement by Ram Kapoor aims to put to rest the ongoing discussion surrounding their professional relationship.
